Archaeological Society - Grand Junction Chapter is hosting its 2nd Annual Holiday Party on Monday, December 11th from 5:30 - 9 pm at Redlands United Methodist Church, 527 Village Way. The evening will include music by The Doubious Brothers, a silent auction including Native American art, get-aways, gift certificates and much more to raise money for chapter projects and events. There will also be a potluck and field trip slide presentations from around the region. You need not be a member to attend. Stray Grass specializes in a high-energy interpretation of acoustic music. Although played on traditional instruments (most of the time), the musical stylings of Stray Grass are anything but traditional!! Show starts at 7:30 and doors open at 7. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
