A Weekend of Cyclocross Races and a 5k Run

3:00pm-5:30pm, Little Salt Wash Park

Ride the full cyclocross course the day before it opens for the weekend by participating in a team cyclocross race. Rules are MAD: you register for more...0 the event and you will be randomly assigned to a team by the race director. Once teams are formed, the race director will assign you to complete certain amount of laps per person. The goal is to minimize optimization of a certain team winning. We are optimizing team work and meeting new people while getting a taste of the course before the big weekend of cross! Race day registration opens at 1:00 p.m. & closes 20 min prior to race start!!! Race starts at 3:00 p.m.

Salty Cross Day 1 - Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 - Little Salt Wash Park, Fruita, CO Local favorite at Little Salt Wash Park with new course layouts every more...0 year... nearby playground for family fun. This event promises great racing fun in the whoops, grass, and trees! The 5k Cross Country Running Race will kick of the day of racing at 9:00. Race day registration opens at 7:30 a.m. & closes 40 min prior to race start!!! Races start at 9:00 a.m. Salty Cross Day 2 - Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 - Little Salt Wash Park, Fruita, CO Warm up with the 5k Cross Country Running Race if you choose then, jump on to your bike for the cyclocross races. We’ll mix it up by changing the course slightly. Come play in Western Colorado on a long Thanksgiving trip. Race day registration opens at 7:30 a.m. & closes 40 min prior to race start!!! Races start at 9:00 a.m.

Want a hand painted portrait of your own pet that you did yourself? Come on out and paint your pet under our artist's direction while more...0 simultaneously supporting Graceland Animal Rescue and Sanctuary! Part of the proceeds will go to the local rescue, Graceland Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Graceland is not a Facility but rather a Foster-based Rescue that relies on foster home within our Grand Junction community to offer temporary sanctuary to our dogs until permanent, loving homes can be found. OR You can paint your pet's silhouette on the CO Flag! Just let me know if you want to paint your pet's portrait or your pet's silhouette on the CO Flag in the email. PET PICTURE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Saturday, November 24th. After Registering: Email us your pet's picture along with your name to CreativeCanvasParty@Gmail.com. Do this for each person coming (if paying for friends). Please put the date of the event in the subject line of the email. We will sketch that breed along with their "paw print" on the pre-sketched flag canvas or simply sketch your pet on a blank canvas if doing the pet portrait painting. Have a mixed breed pet and want to do the CO Flag Painting? No problem! Just send us a level picture of your pet (siting or standing) and we'll sketch out his/her silhouette from the picture. Standing side profiles come out the best. PET PICTURE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Saturday, November 24th. That's all folks! Opportunity sing the choruses of Handel's "Messiah" unrehearsed. Conducted by James Werner with organ accompaniment. This is the 12th more...0 annual Sing-a-Long.
