World-famous reggae stars UB40 are set to mark their 40th anniversary with a 2018 US tour and first album release in over four years. The band will more...0 play many of their seventeen Top 10 hit singles, including ‘Kingston Town’, ‘Food For Thought’, ‘One In Ten’, ‘I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You’, ‘Don’t Break My Heart’ and ‘Sing Our Own Song’ and, of course, ‘Red, Red Wine’, amongst many other fan favourites. Featuring five of UB40’s six founding members, Robin Campbell, Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown,Earl Falconer and Norman Hassan, and long-time members Duncan Campbell, Martin Meredith, Lawrence Parry and Tony Mullings, the group’s 40th anniversary concert will follow the release of the band’s first new studio album in over four years, which is due for release May 2018.

He has eight albums to his credit, all indie releases, beginning with 2000’s South of Town. His songwriting, which focuses on life in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, is widely respected and has been compared to the work of Texas greats such as Guy Clark, John Prine, and Townes Van Zandt.

With his laid-back vocal delivery and earthy acoustic sound, Amos Lee emerged in the mid-2000s, balancing his love of classic singer/songwriter folk more...0 with blues, country, and '70s-style R&B. Drawing upon an array of influences including Bob Dylan, Bill Withers, John Prine, and Otis Redding, Lee garnered critical praise -- and chart success -- with albums like his eponymous 2001 Blue Note debut and 2011's Mission Bell, the latter of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. While Dylanesque folk remains his creative touchstone, Lee has branched out over time, delving into orchestral pop on his 2016 concert album Live at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony and experimenting with contemporary R&B on 2016's Spirit.
