more Sundays of farm-fresh fruits and veggies as well as live music, fall and winter merchandise, hot beverages, hearty food, roasted nuts, chef demos with hot soup, and a free kids’ art tent, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 21st and 28th in downtown Palisade on Third and Main Streets. Chef Dave Kassera, executive chef at the Wine Country Inn, will offer free soup samples this Sunday, October 21st, at noon in the Plaza, and acoustic guitarist and songwriter Patrick Storm will perform from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pre-registrations for either Pet Parade or 5K (register by Oct. 24) will receive comped admission to Harvest Fest! Pet Parade: Dress your dogs in costume & compete in the annual pet costume contest, for awesome local prizes! Each pup participant will receive a treat bag from Chow Down Pet Supplies! All proceeds go to Roice Hurst. She has been on the road ever since, playing clubs, concert halls and coffeehouses from Seattle to Berkeley and across and across I-80 to Omaha, Chicago and then to Boston where she now makes her home. On her new CD, Sometimes I Feel Too Much, she writes of these years on the road in her song Woody Guthrie Watch Over Me. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
