as Grand Junction Symphony musicians form unique chamber groups showcasing a wide range of musical periods, styles and instrumentations. From beloved classics to modern delights, this evening highlights the exceptional talents of our very own orchestra members in an intimate winery setting. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the show; most arrive 40 minutes prior. Parking: Available on the winery grounds, with additional gravel lot in the back and street parking on Broadway. Dress Code: Wear what you like, though athletic attire is generally discouraged. Applause: Applause is encouraged; follow others if you are unsure when to clap. Etiquette: Please silence devices, limit noise during the performance, and be patient with traffic after the concert as it can get a little congested.

1980s-1990s-2000s-2010s Fantasy Movie themed event. We'll pay homage to our favorites like Princess Bride, Labyrinth, and have fun recognizing other fantasy movie-inspired costumes. Enjoy 80s music reimagined live by Mixed Bag Jazz, with some straight up radio favorites from the DJ, and a very brief interpretation of the Princess Bride. Raises funds for the Western Colorado Writers Forum, which was created in response to the many writers on the many writers on the Western Slope looking for opportunities to learn, read, publish, and teach. Raises funds & items for the Grand Junction Free Promwear collects and distributes new and used donated formalwear of all types to a community through the annual giveaway event. You can also bring formalwear to donate to the Grand Junction Free Promwear.

Sunday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Grand Valley (UUCGV) 536 Ouray Avenue UUCGV and Western Colorado Alliance-Mesa County will be co-sponsoring a showing and discussion of a film espousing sustainability at a time of climate change. "2040" is an award-winning Australian director's documentary of small actions around the world that provide optimism for his daughter's future. The film presents both existing and suggested actions in the realms of energy, agriculture, education and transportation. All of these are at the local community level.
