24 Hours of Reality
Because the Climate Crisis is a Health Crisis

Add to your calendar
Date: December 3, 6:30 pm-8:30pm
Continues Until:
Location: Factory, 750 Main Street, Grand Junction, CO
Details: Doors open at 6:30 - Live video starts at 7:00 The Climate Reality Project, which was founded by former US Vice President Al Gore to empower people everywhere to act on climate change and create a healthy future for our planet. On December 3-4, Climate Reality is presenting 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves. Hosted by Vice President Al Gore and featuring an all-star lineup of political icons, artists, scientists, and more, 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves will travel the globe for 24 straight hours with thought-provoking conversations, rousing musical performances, and inspiring stories. I’m hosting a viewing party and inviting people who – just like you – are concerned about the health of our families and communities to watch a segment of the program with me and join millions worldwide in urging our leaders to press forward on the climate fight. Fossil fuels might be the greatest threat to public health worldwide, driving a climate crisis and threatening the health of our families and communities. Extreme weather is on the rise, infectious diseases are spreading, and our food and water supplies are increasingly at risk. And yet, far too few people are talking about it. That’s why we’re sounding the alarm on the clear and present danger that fossil fuels and climate change pose to the health of families and communities across the planet. This year’s 24 Hours of Reality will highlight just what’s at stake, and show us how there are already solutions underway to help us transition to a cleaner, brighter, and healthier future for us all. Plus, it’s going to be a great program and a lot of fun to watch together. We’ll hear the modern tales of how citizens, scientists, entrepreneurs, and local leaders are creating practical solutions that work. I hope you’ll join us! EVENT DETAILS When: December 3rd, 7:00 - 9:00 (come early!) Where: Factory, 750 Main Street, Grand Junction RSVP: Sandi@HighNoonSolar.com Please RSVP by Dec 2nd. If we come together to speak with one voice, our leaders will have to listen. Thanks in advance for joining me to help create a better world. Hope to see you there!
