Valentine's Day Fundraiser for MarillacHealth

THIS VALENTINE’S DAY SURPRISE SOMEONE SPECIAL WITH FOUR GOURMET CUPCAKES FROM THE BAKER’S BOUTIQUE! This year's theme is Peace, Love, more...0 and Cupcakes; each delightful blue box contains four artfully decorated cupcakes made specially for this fundraiser that supports MarillacHealth, Mesa County's full service primary care health center. Each box costs $20. Order as many as you can for your special honey, co-workers, clients or friends, knowing that the proceeds help make healthcare affordable for many at Marillac who would otherwise go without. Place your order online at marillachealth.org or by calling the Baker's Boutique at 970-241-0033. A limited number of cupcakes are available, so pre-ordering is encouraged. You'll be able to pick up your order on Feb. 12 through 14th at the Baker's Boutique, between 8 am and 5 pm.

Eat spaghetti and help rez dogs!

Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab is excited to partner with Pantuso’s Ristorante to host the first Spay-ghetti Dinner Special to benefit more...0 Underdog Rescue’s efforts on the Native American reservations of the Four Corners area. For the entire month of March, Pantusos will be selling a spaghetti and meatball special which includes a fountain drink for $18 per meal. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the free spay and neuter clinics that Underdog hosts every other month on the reservations. Orders can be placed online (https://www.mypantusos.com/) or over the phone ((970) 255-0000) for pick up. Patrons also have the option to dine in at Pantuso's Ristorante in their lounge or tap room. The restaurant is open Tuesday-Sunday from 4-8pm and Saturday from 4-9pm. They are closed on Mondays. Underdog is trying to raise $5,000 from the partnership with Pantuso. The spay and neuter clinics cost $6,200 which includes contracting with the mobile veterinary unit, medication, vaccinations, and food and lodging for volunteers. Underdog is committed to doing these clinics to support the American Indian community. It is estimated that there are over a quarter of a million stray dogs on the reservation.
