Rocky Mountain PBS. Burns and Novick tell the epic story of the Vietnam War as it has never before been told on film. "The Vietnam War" features testimony from nearly 100 witnesses, including many Americans who fought in the war and others who opposed it, as well as Vietnamese combatants and civilians from both the winning and losing sides.
On August 23, Rocky Mountain PBS will host an intimate evening with “The Vietnam War” filmmakers Ken Burns and General Merrill McPeak, featuring selected previews from the upcoming 10-part documentary series, a moderated panel discussion, and audience Q&A.
Rocky Mountain PBS will live-stream this discussion with Ken Burns from the Neuman Center at the University of Denver to the Avalon Theater in Grand Junction. Attendees in Grand Junction will be able to ask a question or two of Ken Burns and he will respond in real-time via the live stream. Generous local support for this event comes from Western Colorado Community Foundation and Chevron.
