Cold Wax Creations
Add to your calendar
Date: August 12, 9:30 am-4:30pm
Continues Until:
Location: 1803 North 7th Street
Details: This two-day workshop will provide an overview of cold wax in an atmosphere that encourages a sense of play and discovery. You’ll learn to explore and create with cold wax, oil paint, and acrylic (which can be used on the first layer to paint in a design). Cold wax medium provides rich texture, depth, and discovery. Layers can be covered up with more layers of wax and oil paint as the artist’s composition evolves. No experience necessary; students of all skill levels are welcome, and will walk away with two completed paintings.
