2013 and quickly grew to become a global event with the participation of the United States, Japan, Germany and France. Through the efforts of CSD and the stores, labels, bands and fans involved worldwide we've helped keep what was once perceived as a dead format alive and viable in today's digital age! We are expecting a wide variety of exclusive releases specific to Cassette Store Day. Rock Cesario, owner of Triple Play says, “We’re very pleased to be participating in this event for the first time! There are some really great releases and we’re thrilled to see cassettes starting to make a comeback like vinyl.” We invite the public to shop at local businesses downtown Saturday, October 13th and get an early start on their holiday shopping. Each purchase on CSD will receive a FREE budget cassette from the store.
