metal. "If you invited fans of all kinds of metal - from thrash to Scandinavian metal to modern American metal - and had them all in a mosh pit, Act Of Defiance would be their soundtrack," asserts guitarist Chris Broderick. With a hefty resumé that chronicles time spent riffing and shredding in Jag Panzer, Nevermore, and a seven-year stint in Megadeth, his pedigree speaks for itself. Furthermore, joined by powerhouse drummer - and fellow Megadeth alumnus - Shawn Drover, bassist Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall/Times Of Grace) and vocalist Henry Derek (Scar The Martyr) the band are a truly formidable metallic behemoth, and their debut album, Birth And The Burial, is ten tracks of armor-plated, state of the art heaviness.

global averages. Some of the other impacts include the following:
Declining snowfall in mountain regions resulting in reduced surface water.
Dryer forests due to early snowmelt results in higher wildfire risks.
Colorado is one of the fastest warming states in the country.
Increased difficulty in administration of water rights.
Increased water demand to crops as temperatures rise.
Increased extreme weather events.
Reduced air quality in metropolitan areas of Colorado.
Increases in serious illness and death due to heat stress.
Increased chances of brownouts and power outages.
These are just a few of the effects to Colorado, but impacts also include ecosystems, organisms, human health, agriculture, infrastructure and the overall economy.
After we discuss the impacts, we will discuss ways that you can help turn it around. Please join the conversation!
