Details: |
For three special days this autumn, twenty-five Grand Valley fine artists are extending an exclusive invitation to the public. They are opening the doors of their private studios. From the large purpose-built studio, to the small adaptive workspace, each artist studio is a unique world.
With a variety of tools, lighting, and work space, every studio allows artistic ideas and inspiration to take life. Each studio is organized to accommodate individual artists’ own special processes and techniques. The studio is where the artist spends hours, months or even years working to create art that only takes seconds to view!
Map in hand – or phone in hand – you are an explorer. Discover hidden nooks and amazing views of the Grand Valley. Visit places you didn’t dream existed, enter private sanctuaries of artistic creativity, impressive home galleries, and witness in-progress demonstrations. Expand your knowledge and appreciation of our valley’s amazingly talented and generous art community. Take the opportunity to purchase an original piece of art.
Brochures can be found at The Art Center, Visit Grand Junction, GJ Parks and Recreation Office, various art galleries and online.
