the Conservation Center from Paonia for a 3-5 mile hike in the Adobe Badlands Wilderness Study Area, northwest of Delta.
Explore the maze of arroyos and ravines, scout for endangered hookless cactus and kit fox all the while learning about the upcoming Uncompahgre Resource Managment plan and how it will impact this area for the next 20 years.
Participants for the Adobe Badlands hike are encouraged to meet at the City Market parking lot in Delta at 9am. Carpools will be available. Please bring water and appropriate clothing.
