                     Monthly Sensory Friendly Events are just the thing for you! To keep the museum environment from being overwhelming, exhibit lights will be turned down, background noise and our animatronics will be turned off on every second Monday of the month at Dinosaur Journey in Fruita. Our kickoff event will be on February 12, 2024, from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Admission for this event will be $5.00 per person.

Come listen to the heartbreak and humor of love this Valentine's Day weekend in the intimate space provided by The Art Center of Western Colorado. Dawn and Brian of Green Junction Farmstead have seen it all while chasing their dreams, from multiple lost farms, bears, foxes, failed crops, and the community that wouldn't give up. In the end, Dawn and Brian never created this community, this community materialized in moments of need to support regenerative agriculture in the Grand Valley. Taking a well known story and creating an original ballet using various scores and compositions, follow Colorado West Performing Arts Company on their rendition of Little Mermaid. Utilizing green screen effects and digital animation, this ballet includes humor, adventure, love and of course a happy ending.
