Natural Wanders Nonprofit is more...0 hosting a film screening on Sat Aug 16th sharing research conducted with public servants from the National Parks Service, EPA, Dept of Interior, US Forest Service, global conservation nonprofits, state representatives, private sector sustainability officers, state environmental enforcement officers, environmental lawyers, and more to explore the best approaches to effective environmental protection. Join us Sat Aug 16th from 2-4pm, at Mesa County Library GJ for this free film screening and discussion brought to you by Natural Wanders, a Colorado-based environmental education 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Saturday, August 16th from 2-4pm @ Mesa County Library GJ and bring a friend!

Join RiversEdge West and Rimrock Adventures for a relaxing day on the water during more...0 our "Raft the River" fundraiser on August 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Launching from Rimrock Adventures in Fruita, CO, and taking out at the Loma Boat Ramp, this river float trip offers a unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Colorado River while contributing to its restoration. Our expert guides will accompany you and offer insights into the vital work of riverside restoration in the Grand Valley. Following the float, indulge in a brunch catered by Café Sol and enjoy bloody marys and mimosas while mingling with fellow river enthusiasts (from ~11:30-1). We'll raise a glass to the success of our mission and have a chance to win prizes at Rimrock Adventure's charming riverside venue. We provide everything; just bring yourself! We encourage you to wear a Hawaiian shirt! All ages and all humans are welcome. Tickets are $130 and include the float trip and equipment, brunch, drinks, and entry into a prize giveaway! Some scholarships are available. Registration is required in advance.
