18, 24, and 25 at 7:00 PM at The Art Center in Grand Junction. The play follows twelve jurors deciding the fate of a teenage boy accused of murder. What begins as an open-and-shut case turns into a tense discussion about prejudice, doubt, and the importance of reasonable doubt. As the jurors debate the evidence, one man challenges the others to look beyond their assumptions. Originally founded in 1998, Grand Valley Community Theatre produced more than 30 shows in the valley before going on hiatus several years ago. The organization is excited to return and once again bring live community theatre to the area. Tickets are $15.
