Association and CMU Prof. Dr. John Seebach to explore one of America's oldest archeological sites, the Eagle Rock Shelter. This unique day-long float trip down the Gunnison River through Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area, together with some hiking and light paddling, will give a sense of the landscape and how it was shaped by its inhabitants. Explorers aged 15 and up are encouraged to sign up! Cost: $200 for CCA members; $225 for non-members - Cost includes: Expert guides, including Dr. Seebach, Professor of Archaeology from CMU Locally-sourced, whole foods and beverages for delicious, lunch. Association and local historian Zebulon Miracle on an impressive 3 day 2 night rafting trip through Ruby-Horsethief Canyon. On this once in a lifetime adventure, learn about the rich pioneering and cowboy history of our local canyons and rivers while enjoying delicious camp cooked meals, beautiful hiking and some light paddling.
