A View to The West: An Evening of Cowboy Poetry and Music October 19th

KAFM and Museums of Western Colorado present View to the West: An Evening of Cowboy Poetry and Music featuring Bill Clark, Nona Kelley Carver, Terry Nash, and Peggy Malone in the KAFM Radio Room on October 19. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 years and under! Concessions will be available. Cosy Sheridan October 26th

Cosy Sheridan first caught the attention of national folk audiences in 1992 when she won the New Folk songwriting contests at The Kerrville Folk Festival and The Telluride Bluegrass Festival. She has been on the road ever since, playing clubs, concert halls and coffeehouses from Seattle to Berkeley and across and across I-80 to Omaha, Chicago and then to Boston where she now makes her home. On her new CD, Sometimes I Feel Too Much, she writes of these years on the road in her song Woody Guthrie Watch Over Me. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.

North by Northwest November 6th-KAFM Classic Film Series

Join us Tuesday November 6th for Alfred Hitchcock's North By Northwest.  This classic suspense film finds New York City ad executive Roger O. Thornhill (Cary Grant) pursued by ruthless spy Phillip Vandamm (James Mason) after Thornhill is mistaken for a government agent. Hunted relentlessly by Vandamm's associates, the harried Thornhill ends up on a cross-country journey, meeting the beautiful and mysterious Eve Kendall (Eva Marie Saint) along the way.  Show starts at 7pm doors open at 6:30.  Tickets are $5 and popcorn is free!  Snacks and Beverages available.

KAFM Karaoke Wednesday Nov 7

Karaoke in the Radio Room!  Every first Wednesday of the Month KAFM hosts a Karaoke night the best intimate venue in Grand Junction.   The action starts at 7pm and there are snacks and beverages Available.   Get over the hump day with KAFM!

Union of None November 16th

Hailing from the western slope of Colorado, Union of None plays all the songs you didn’t know you wanted to hear from the 80’s to the 2000’s to audiences all over Colorado. Wide-ranging vocals and harmonies paired with searing guitar leads and a solid rhythm section have made Union of None one of the top bands in their home market.
