While the core three more...0 musicians (Rick, Helen, & Harry) making up The Scones have been performing, individually and collectively, in the Colorado music scene for some time, since joining forces and building a sound around original compositions and their superb musicianship they have been enjoying packed houses and exceptional response everywhere. With the addition of Melanie Jean (vocal, bass, and flautist extraordinaire) a cool new facet to their sound has been added. Each member brings a unique ingredient that blends seamlessly into a band that that is best described as "Rockin' Americana” and deals out tasty music that touches on blues, soul, jazz, country, and classic rock and roll. $5 Admission Doors at 6pm Show at 7pm

Amoramora has been saving the world with rock’n’roll since 2016. Every live show is guaranteed to blast you off into a cosmic dance party more...0 and features an ever changing blend of psychedelic jams, funk, bluegrass, african highlife and beyond. Fueled by high-energy improvisation, the undeniable joy this quartet shares onstage and offstage is reflected by their devout and growing fanbase, the Amorons. Based out of Boulder, CO, the band has a commitment to consistently changing setlists, expanding their already extensive catalog of original material, and stirring the musical gumbo. Along with the deep instrumental blend of guitar, keyboard, trumpet, EWI, bass & drums, all four members are also vocalists. Their astronomic compositions take the listener on an engaging journey while whimsical and captivating lyrics fuel the fire of musical imagery. The quartet, two of which have music degrees from the University of Colorado and University of Miami (FL), create a refreshing experience every night to keep their audience and listeners on their toes. After selling out their first headlining play at the The Fox Theatre in May of 2017 the band released “S’moramora Volume 2” on all major listening/streaming platforms and has been touring the US extensively while expanding their rapidly growing audience deemed the 'Amorheads & Amorons'.

Based on Betty Edwards’ classic, “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain,” this one-day workshop unleashes creativity and a new way more...0 of seeing. Mary Pat has taught hundreds of people over the years in Grand Junction, Montrose, Craig, and Steamboat Springs. Participants usually start the day convinced they absolutely cannot draw, or cannot draw certain objects. They walk away at the end of the day with amazing drawings and a new sense of confidence and way of seeing. There are 8 exercises in all, including copying a famous drawing by Picasso, two different drawings of the student’s hand, and a negative space drawing. It is a fun-filled, 5-hour intensive.

If the weather this winter has got you thinking about climate change, you’ll want to catch the new documentary, “Saving more...0 Snow.” Citizens’ Climate Lobby is presenting three FREE local screenings: At the Grand Junction Central Library on Thursday, March 1st, at 5:30 p.m. … At the Palisade Community Center on Friday the 2nd, at 6 p.m. … And at the CMU Ballroom on Tuesday the 6th, at 6 p.m. The last one is co-hosted by the CMU Sustainability Council. “Saving Snow” paints a fond portrait of people who love winter and depend on it for their livelihood.
