public Saturday April 6, at 11am, and through the week M-F 11am-7pm at the Mesa Mall across from Bath & Body Works. The gallery will display art from high school student’s grades 9-12 from District 51 schools. Exhibit will remain open until Saturday, April 13, with the award ceremony and reception beginning at 6pm. An awards ceremony for the student art work will be held at 7:00 pm. Students will be presented with 1st place trophies for each category, a Best in Show, and People’s Choice award decided by patron votes. A community art project will be ongoing in the gallery space during the exhibition. Sponsors include Grand Junction Commission on Arts & Culture, and Loki Outerwear, and MJ Thomas Photography.
