Now sponsored by KAFM Community Radio, the gathering celebrates its 9th year with a wide range of top local and national Cowboy Poets and Western Singers and presents two days and nights of good family fun, featuring great cowboy entertainment. See some of the BEST local and national cowboy poets and musicians for your listening pleasure in beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado.

This special evening will feature a presentation by Dr Timothy Winegard, live music by Greg Luck, food truck, local art, books sold by Out West Books, and an introduction by poet laureate of Western Colorado, Wendy Videlock. Dr. Winegard of CMU is a NYT bestselling author of six books, including The Mosquito, a Human History of Our Deadliest Predator. He has appeared on Netflix, CBS This Morning, PBS, C- Span, Global News, BBC, CBC, and hundreds of other national and international documentaries, television and radio programs to discuss his research and books. His most recent book, The Horse, a Galloping History of Humanity, will be the subject of the evening. We will enjoy a presentation by Dr Winegard, a reading of select passages from the book, as well as an interview, Q & A session and book signing.
