Starting as a trio in Phoenix, Arizona in 2009, Haymarket Squares has since played over 500 shows across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Known as purveyors of punkgrass, Haymarket Squares presents rabble-rousing lyrics with a catchy melody! Mark Allred (vocals, slide guitar and harmonica), Jayson James (fiddle), John Luther Norris (vocals, guitar and kazoo) and Marc Oxborrow (vocals and bass) have found that they make their best music when they're angry about something. Haymarket Squares showcase upbeat, happy sounding songs with edgy lyrics that poke fun at the establishment. They’ve found they make their best music when they’re angry about something. However, they want fans to dance and smile with the empowered feeling they can overcome anything together. Tickets are $20 doors open at 7pm

songwriter, Reverend Freakchild, will be performing LIVE in the KAFM Radio Room on Friday, August 9th at 7:30 p.m. He is best known for his distinct blues style incorporating elements of psychedelic and country music. A well rounded musician, Reverend Freakchild has performed in many bands including Soul Coughing, Bananafish, The Neptune Ensemble, The Soul Miners, The Lucky Devils, and The Cosmic All-Stars touring internationally! Additionally, Reverend Freakchild has spent 3 years off and on Broadway singing blues and spirituals on Sundays at Tobacco Road. He has also served as a member and featured soloist for the Metro Mass Gospel Choir performing in notable venues such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and Town Hall Theater. His music has been featured in many television programs and commercials in addition to national radio advertising campaigns. Reverend Freakchild currently resides in Colorado as he pursues a Master of Divinity Degree at Naropa University to compliment his degrees in philosophy and religion. Reverend Freakchild declares, “Music is my religion. Through song I seek transcendence!” Tickets are $15

guitar player, voicestrumentalist, storyteller, songwriter, author, teacher and traveler. He is best known for his one-man orchestra show; simultaneously playing, singing and making instrumental sounds with his mouth and without the use of a loop pedal. Lipbone incorporates a full spectrum of musical styles from American Roots and Jazz to throat singing and Indian Classical. Lipbone Redding will be performing LIVE in the KAFM Radio Room on Saturday, August 24th at 7:30 p.m.
A one-man orchestra with no electronic effects, his natural human sounds of throat singing, bass and beat-boxing, and his astonishingly realistic lip-trombone are a must-experience evening of entertainment—as he weaves his stories with funky rhythms, catchy melodies, brash humor, soulful singing, and inventive guitar playing.
