Contemporary Clay 2014 Juror Jim Romberg
Jim Romberg is a Professor Emeritus from Southern Oregon University where he headed the Ceramics Department for nineteen years. He is currently living in Sedona, Arizona where he maintains his studio and is program director for the Eagleheart Center for Art and Inquiry. Jim’s work is exhibited and collected internationally. In keeping with the tradition of the Biennial Contemporary Clay Exhibit, juror Jim Romberg has invited six artists from around the country to display with the juried artists. These artists are Nick Joerling of Penland, NC, Elaine Olafson Henry of Sheridan, WY, Patrick Crabb of Santa Ana, CA, Susan Filley of Chapel Hill, NC, Adam Welch of Brooklyn, NY, and Joe Bova of Santa Fe, NM.

MUSIC FOR THE MONUMENT
A Benefit for the Colorado National Monument Assoc
7:00pm, Two Rivers Winery, 2087 Broadway
Jeff Pine and Friends, will perform Friday May
16th, on the lawn at Two Rivers Winery and Chateau, 2087 South Broadway. The event is a benefit for the Colorado National Monument Association. Gates open at 6:00 PM with the concert starting at 7:00 PM.
Bring chairs or blanket and a picnic. Enjoy sunset over the Colorado National Monument while you listen to his mellow collection of rock, folk, pop, jazz, blues and soul.
Tickets are $30 and available online at www.coloradonma.org and the National Monument Visitor Center, Back Porch Music and Two Rivers Winery. Proceeds from the concert will fund education, preservation, and interpretive programs of the Colorado National Monument.
Two Rivers wine will be available for purchase. No other alcoholic beverages are permitted. In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside at the Chateau. For further information, call 858-3617, ext. 360.
